Format

Used to alter the way the text is reformatted before display.

MarkupProvides a variety of options for interpreting formatting markup. See Markup.
LayoutProvides a variety of options for laying out the text. See Layout.
Plucker Options specific to Plucker.

Depluck removes the "Click here for next part" stuff which Plucker puts in when a page is greater than 30kb and rejoins the pages. Dejpluck does the same with jPluckX documents.

Continuous just allows one Plucker page to run onto the next. The pages are often out of order so use Depluck instead - this option is here just for backward compatibility,

Zoom InIncreases screen magnification. Fonts are zoomed in/out for as far as there are font sizes available. Beyond that, only the graphics are resized.
Zoom OutDecreases screen magnification. See Zoom in, above, for more info.
Graphics ZoomSets the size of graphics relative to the font. If your graphics appear too large when the font is at a comfortable size set this to a smaller value (or if they are too small, to a larger value 8^) ). A value of 10 is nominally "normal" but I find 7 or 8 is better. I haven't had to go below 5 or above 10, yet.
Ideogram/Char grouping When selected, treats each character as a word and enforces uniform character spacing. When not selected, looks for spaces in the text to identify words. See About Unicode for more.
Set Width Sets the character spacing as a percentage of the text height to be used when in ideogram mode. Start at 100 and experiment to find what you like best.
Encoding Allows you to choose from a variety of encodings. Ascii is actually unprocessed text so its precise behaviour may depend on the machines locale setting. See About Unicode for some more information about Unicode.
Set Font Allows you to choose which font the text is displayed in. Helvetica or smoothtimes are probably best for ascii type texts, unifont or cyberbit (if you have installed them) are best for extended character sets (other unicode fonts may also be available but these are all I've found, so far).
